About Berta's Place
Berta's Place features dynamic floral arrangements at reasonable prices. Our goal is to provide floral arrangements that will allow you to express the innermost feelings of your heart without saying one word. Berta's Place is owned by Moses and Jeannine Holmes, and serves the greater Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
Our Namesake
Berta's Place is named after Jeannine's mother, Alberta Corry, who passed away in 2003. Each floral arrangement expresses the love Alberta gave to her children: Steven, Jeannine, Bonita, Hubert, and Jeffrey (Rico). Alberta had an infectious personality and inviting smile. She was affectionately given the nickname Berta by her younger sister, Frances.
